Here's how it works: When you join the VACC, you will have the opportunity to get THREE one-time discounts or special offers, redeemed at any one of the participating stores listed below:

• 5% off one new bike purchase per year
• 10% off one tune-up or service per year
• 15% off one parts and accessories purchase per year

VACC MEMBERSHIP CARDS are issued in the second week of each month so please make sure your address is complete. On the back of the card, you'll see tick boxes for three one-time discounts at participating bike stores, listed below. To redeem, present your card, and have it stamped. Benefits are renewed each year when you renew your membership!

Momentum is the magazine for self-propelled people! It's a wonderful read, a Vancouver-based publication that covers the full spectrum of North American transportation cycling from the healthy foods for trips to bike fashion. And now, the VACC newsletter, The Urbane Cyclist, is included in its pages. You can purchase a membership and subscription at once through Momentum or, if you're already a member, you can contact us to receive a special $10 (50% discount!) subscription

Biking is generally a safe and practical way of getting around. However, sometimes the worst does happen. As a VACC member, you are entitled to a free 30 minute legal consultation with our expert bike lawyer, David Hay of Richards Buell Sutton LLP.

The VACC has been so effective over the years because of its network of grassroots advocacy committees. All VACC members are invited to their local committee meetings so they can be part of the solution.
