How to Advocate

Cycling Advocacy in Greater Vancouver
The VACC advocates for better cycling facilities in the Lower Mainland. We have local advocacy committees working in most municipalities, and new members are always welcome. We also actively work on region-wide issues and on improving cycling as it relates to transit and to our ubiquitous bridges.

Cycling advocacy
There's a lot to figure out when you're trying to make change happen (whose jurisdiction, who has the decision-making power, when and how to approach...). To make it easier, the VACC offers a cycling advocacy "how-to" guide, with concrete tips, pointers, and contacts which will help you advocate for better cycling facilities and conditions in the Lower Mainland.
